OptiCore is a health and nutrition tracking application designed to help you understand your daily energy balance. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
When you create an account and use OptiCore, we collect the following information:
Profile data (entered by you):
Activity and health data (read from your device via Android Health Connect):
Nutrition and daily tracker data (logged by you):

Why we collect this data: All collected data is used exclusively to calculate your personal energy balance, display health metrics on your dashboard, and improve the food search experience for all users. No data is used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase, a SOC 2-compliant cloud infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and tied exclusively to your individual user account. No other user can access your personal data.
We do not store raw health sensor data permanently. Only aggregated daily summaries (e.g., total steps for the day, average heart rate) are retained to populate your dashboard and analytics.
Food search queries and aggregate food popularity scores are stored on our backend to improve search relevance. This data does not contain personally identifiable information.
Some data (food logs, dashboard metrics) is cached locally on your device using Android's AsyncStorage to enable offline access and faster loading. This cached data remains on your device and is cleared when you log out or uninstall the app.
OptiCore integrates with Android Health Connect to read activity metrics such as steps, calories burned, heart rate, sleep sessions, distance, and optionally exercise sessions, respiratory rate, weight, and blood glucose. This data is read on-device, aggregated, and sent only to your own secure account on our backend. Health data is never used for advertising profiling, research resale, or any purpose beyond displaying your personal health dashboard.
You may revoke Health Connect permissions at any time through your device's Health Connect settings. Revoking permissions will stop future data reads but will not delete data already synced to your account.
OptiCore uses three sources to return food search results:
Our own Indian foods database: OptiCore maintains a curated database of Indian foods sourced from publicly available nutritional datasets (IFCT/INDB) and Indian recipe databases. Searches against this database are processed entirely on our own servers — no data is sent to any third party.
FatSecret Platform API: For broader food search coverage, your search query may be transmitted to FatSecret's servers. This integration operates in accordance with FatSecret's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not attach any personally identifiable information to queries sent to FatSecret.
Open Food Facts: For packaged and branded food items (and barcode lookups), your search query or barcode may be transmitted to Open Food Facts' servers. Open Food Facts is a non-profit open database operating under the Open Database License. We do not attach any personally identifiable information to these requests.
If you grant notification permission, OptiCore schedules local meal reminders (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an evening summary prompt). To support push notification delivery, your device's Expo push token is collected and stored on our servers. This token is used solely to send reminders and is never shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device's notification settings or Android Settings → Apps → OptiCore → Notifications.
You have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
To request deletion, email us at elevenonlines@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms that sell data, or third-party tracking tools. The app is currently free to use. Any future premium features will be offered as an optional in-app subscription (OptiCore Pro). Subscription status will never be used as a basis for data sharing or targeted advertising.
OptiCore is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at elevenonlines@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app.
